Vacuum sealing is a way to seal food for long-term storage. We know that food will not stay fresh forever, but with the right tools, we can prolong it.
This vacuum sealing method was introduced as a new way to extend existing food sources. There are two types of vacuum food sealers: counter top models and handheld ones. Counter top sealers are a little more durable and offer stronger suction and sealing strength, but they are more expensive than handheld food sealers, and they take up more space.
Vacuum sealing is a type of packaging called Reduced Oxygen Packaging, also known as ROP.
